29th September 2016
Tomorrow, Friday 30 September, is an important day in the life of the Links Golf charity. Not only is it the first day of play at the Ryder Cup it is also our next golf day, at Frilford Heath Golf Club in Oxford, where we plan to share our goals for the future as we relaunch the charity and expand its work. We are delighted that more than forty friends and supporters are booked in to our day and that we have the opportunity to share our future plans for the first time with so many.
People are travelling from far and wide to join us at this event - some from Devon, Birmingham, others from Chichester and the South Coast, there's a group even travelling down from Chester too! We appreciate the support and interest shown by so many.
Let's hope for a great day together playing Frilford's exceptional Red Course. I saw the course this week and the staff have prepared it for the European Tour event next week, so it is immaculate with greens running at 11+ on the stimpmeter!
Thanks for all the interest and support - the future looks bright for Links Golf!
